Hey Guys,
This week was a blur, get tired of me saying that yet? You don't even know! I'm not entirely sure what I did this week but I'm sure it was great :) Our newest convert Sarah was sadly stationed in Italy after graduation and left us this week. But she's basically set a new world record for fastest progressing new member, she got her patriarchal blessing, bore her testimony the last two Sundays in sacrament meeting, watched the women's broadcast, got her temple recommend and did baptisms in the Palmyra temple and went to the sacred grove!! She's an over achiever :) We miss her a ton though! I'm glad she was able to be equipped with the covenant power of our Savior before she left.
This week we went fishing on two separate occasions, once with our ward mission leader and his nonmember mother and then again with Elder Gines our military relations senior missionary and a recent convert and a less active member. In total I think I caught like 7 or 8 bluegill. Really wanted to pull in some bass but beggar's can't be choosers. Easter weekend was wonderful and the privates on base went bananas over all the cakes and pizza and candy we bought them with their money. So funny! I taught a lesson to our 3 soldiers who want to be baptized, hopefully they'll be ready in a couple weeks! I felt deeply the love and presence of my Savior this weekend. It's so cool that he lives :) Because he lives, everything is possible! God's plan is wondrous, and he's given us every single thing we need to be happy now and in eternity.
We're teaching several part member families that are coming along, hopefully we'll have more baptismal dates soon! Our zone was struggling when I got here but they are really to starting to pick things up and we are doing well, which is great. I'm so stoked for general conference this weekend!!!!! Unimaginable how fast times gone since the last one, seems like I was just watching it. But that's okay, because I need the words of those we sustain as prophets, seers and revelators.
Hope ya'll had a great time commemorating the resurrection of our Lord! MAKE time to watch all of conference, don't take this opportunity for granted. Millions of people in previous dispensations literally would've given their lives for such an opportunity.
Love ya!
